Building Bright Futures
Building Bright Futures serves both as the state's Early Childhood Advisory Council and the governance structure for the early childhood system.
Children's Integrated Services (CIS) Contacts
CIS is a resource for pregnant or postpartum women and families with children from birth to age six. Services include early intervention (IDEA Part C), maternal/child health and nursing, early childhood and family mental health, and specialized child care services.
Community Child Care Support Agencies
Community Child Care Support Agencies provide a variety of services including child care referrals, child care resource development and training support, and eligibility determination services for the Vermont Child Care Financial Assistance Program.
Head Start & State Collaboration Office
Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded child development programs which provide comprehensive development services for low-income children and social services for their families.
Parent Child Centers
Parent Child Centers are a clearinghouse for general information about child and families issues; they offer home visits to families with young children; playgroups; parent education; and advocacy for parents.
Specialized Child Care Coordinators
Specialized Child Care Coordinators help child care providers, social workers, families, and community partners with issues related to specialized child care.
