DCF Nondiscrimination Policy/Grievance Policy
This policy states the department’s prohibition against discrimination based on race, creed (religion), color, national origin, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or political beliefs in the administration of our programs, services, and activities. It also establishes the complaint/grievance process to follow in the event of a claim of discrimination other than those lodged by employees.

Child Development Division (CDD)
Ensures access to quality child care & development services.
Disability Determination Services (DDS)
Determines medical eligibility for federal disability benefits.
Economic Services Division (ESD)
Helps individuals and families to meet their basic needs.
Family Services Division (FSD) 
Makes sure children are safe from abuse, their basic needs are met, and they abide by the law.
Office of Child Support (OCS)
Helps make sure children get the child support payments they're entitled to.
Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO)
Supports organizations that provide direct services to low-income Vermonters.
