Oil and Gas Leasing
Oil and gas rights under the control of the Federal government may be leased to energy companies for development. This includes oil and gas in offshore parcels and on public lands. The Department of the Interior is the primary agency administering oil and gas leasing. Other agencies may issue related documents.
