New CDC report shows American Indian and Alaska Native populations are disproportionately affected by COVID-199/1/2020 1:49:00 PMCDC released a new study that shows how COVID-19 is affecting American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN). CDC found that in 23 selected states, the rates of infection among AI/AN people were 3.5 times that of non-Hispanic white people.
Health Advisory: Hurricane Laura-Clinical Guidance for Carbon Monoxide Poisoning8/28/2020 8:21:00 AMCDC has released a health advisory, "Hurricane Laura-Clinical Guidance for Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning," reminding clinicians seeing patients from the areas affected by Hurricane Laura to maintain a high index of suspicion for CO poisoning. Other people who may be exposed to the same CO source may need to be identified and assessed.
