Capitol Virtual Tours
The CVC is pleased to inform you of a new online U.S. Capitol experience for your constituents. The public will soon be able to join online live virtual tours of the U.S. Capitol. CVC Visitor Guides will present information normally delivered during in-person guided tours that has been tailored for online audiences. Participants will view images from the tour route while a Visitor Guide narrates the experience.
These live virtual tours will initially cover the basic three-room public tour route: Crypt, Rotunda and Statuary Hall. Many visitors enjoying an in-person tour often have questions. We expect those joining this online experience will also want to know more. Using the chat, audience members will be able to seek answers from the Guide presenting the online tour. Each tour will include a minimum of 20-30 minutes of content with up to 15 minutes for questions and answers.
Live online virtual tours of the Capitol are designed for all age groups.
