Committees and Caucuses

Representative Pete Aguilar was most recently re-elected to the House of Representatives in 2020 to represent the 31st Congressional District of California. Representative Aguilar serves as Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus and is a Member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the New Democrat Coalition. He serves on the House Appropriations Committee – the committee responsible for allocating funds for all government programs and operations. There, he serves on the Subcommittees on Defense; Transportation, Housing & Urban Development; and Homeland Security. He is also a Member of the Committee on House Administration. 

Representative Aguilar is the founder of the bipartisan E-Commerce Caucus and is also a member of the Pro-Choice Caucus, LGBT Equality Caucus, Work for Warriors Caucus, Veterans Jobs Caucus, Congressional MS Caucus, Native American Caucus and the Steel Caucus.
