Community Testing Centers: Covid tests are being provided without cost at many sites across Wisconsin. To find a local community testing sites near you click here. You will be notified of your test results by phone or email. If you have been waiting for more than four days for your results from a community testing site, call the results hotline at 866-419-6988.

At-Home Tests: The government of Wisconsin has coordinated with the private sector to supply Covid-19 at home tests at no cost. These tests can be requesting by clicking here, regardless of whether you are experiencing Covid symptoms.

For Students and Children: If your Milwaukee Public School students needs a meal during school closures, there are distribution areas where students can pick up meals. Additionally, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) will provide a dinner meal along with breakfast and lunch and produce bags every Thursday to MPS students or anyone 18 years old or younger. Resources for Domestic Violence Victims

The Sojourner Family Peace Center in Milwaukee operates a 24-hour confidential hotline at (414) 933-2722 and offers assistance with e-filing for restraining orders at (414) 278-5079. The center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

Milwaukee's LGBT Community Center offers services through appointments only and can be reached at 414-271-2656. The center is open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Services are available on weekends through appointment only.

The Asha Project, which serves African-American women in Milwaukee, provides a crisis line from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (414) 252-0075. 

Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition is available at  414 727-4900 and is open from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 pm and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.

The Hmong American Women’s Association, which serves the Hmong and southeast Asian community, has advocates available at (414) 930-9352 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The WI Hmong Family Strengthening Helpline is available after hours at (877) 740-4292.

The UMOS Latina Resource Center in Milwaukee offers bi-lingual, bi-cultural, domestic violence, sexual assault and anti-human trafficking supportive services and operates a 24-hour hotline at (414) 389-6510.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at (800) 799-7233 or through their live chat.
