Youth Vaping Survey

I’ve heard from parents, law enforcement, educators, and community officials throughout our district who are concerned about youth vaping.

At a recent drug prevention roundtable in Postville, I heard that students as young as nine are participating in vaping. This shocked me – my youngest son, Jax, is nine.

Substance abuse experts have told me that vaping products are potential gateways to other drug use and risky behavior. As a mom of two and a lawmaker, I believe we need to focus on prevention and work together to keep our kids safe.
