WASHINGTON—On Thursday, September 22, U.S. Representative Ken Buck (CO-04) will host a Virtual Military Academy Night from 5:30pm to 7:45pm MST via Zoom for Colorado high school students interested in learning more about the nomination process to the United States Service Academies.


Academy Night gives students, family members, school administrators and educators the opportunity to meet with Academy Representatives and staff members from Congressman Buck’s office about the nomination process.

Lauren Boebert (CO-03) and Doug Lamborn (CO-05), introduced the “No Federal Tax Dollars for Illegal Aliens Health Insurance Act”, a bill to prohibit the use of federal funds to subsidize illegal immigrants’ health care. This bill is a direct response to the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Treasury’s approval of Colorado’s Section 1332 State Innovation Waiver Amendment.

WASHINGTON—Representative Ken Buck (CO-04) issued the following statement after voting against the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023: 

“I am fully in favor of legislation that strengthens our military readiness and national security, but this bill is stuffed with harmful provisions that advance woke and Green New Deal policies at the expense of America’s military superiority.
