Two months after the passage of the historic American Rescue Plan, Help Is Here! Families and communities are seeing the benefits of historic COVID relief:

• Put Vaccines in Arms: with more than 270 million vaccinations and counting now in American arms.

• Put Money in People’s Pockets: with more than 160 million checks already sent to American households. The Rescue Plan also provides direct housing assistance and nutrition assistance, expands access to safe and reliable child care and affordable health care, extends unemployment insurance and supports tens of millions of families with an expanded Child Tax Credit and millions more low-wage workers through an improved Earned Income Tax Credit.

• Get Children Safely Back in School: making a nearly $130 billion investment to help schools reopen safely, stay open safely and make up for lost learning time.

• Get People Back In Jobs: extending a lifeline for the hardest-hit small businesses, especially those owned by entrepreneurs from racial and ethnic backgrounds that have experienced systemic discrimination, and crucial resources to protect the jobs of first responders, frontline public health workers, teachers, transit workers and other essential workers that all Americans depend on.
