The White House has announced that public tours will resume on April 15, 2021.  Due to limited availability, obtaining a White House tour can be difficult.  Please be sure to follow the below guidelines for your request to be considered:

  • Tour requests must be submitted a minimum of 21 days before the requested date, and no more than 90 days in advance of the requested date.
  • Beginning on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, public tours will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays. Tours are approved on a first-come, first-served basis, by the White House Visitors Office, and are subject to cancelation at any time.

Tours of the Capitol are restarting with limited availability. If you would like to request a tour of the Capitol, please take note of the following guidelines:

  • Beginning on Wednesday, May 25,  the public may reserve tours directly through the public CVC website: https://www.visitthecapitol.gov/
    • These tours will be led by Capitol Visitor’s Center tour guides, not Congressman Lamb’s staff.
    • Please know that staff-led tours will still be limited and only conducted once per week for up to 15 visitors. The likelihood that you will receive a tour at your preferred time will be higher by booking it directly through the CVC as soon as possible.
  • Capitol tours will be available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and are roughly 30 minutes in length.
  • Capitol tours are limited to 15 guests, with the exception of school groups.
  • Capitol tours are currently operating at a reduced capacity. Reservations should be submitted as far in advance as possible to increase the likelihood that your tour dates will be available.

The Library of Congress is now open for public tours.  These tours can be self-booked by clicking here.  If you would like assistance booking your tour, please fill out our tour form.

Tours of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Bureau of Engraving and Printing are currently closed to the public.  This website will be updated as information about these locations becomes available.
