Appropriations Request 2023
As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, I want to ensure that your federal government invests in the policies and programs that help our communities, state, and nation move forward. That’s why it’s important I hear directly from you about what our federal budget should prioritize.
Community Project Funding Requests
In Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, the House Appropriations Committee will again utilize a Community Project Funding initiative to allow Members of Congress to target federal funds towards projects and programs that will address the most significant needs facing the communities they represent. Only state, local, and tribal governments; publicly owned entities (e.g. ports, universities, PUDs, etc.); and certain non-profit entities with a quasi-government purpose (e.g. Special Districts) are eligible to request Community Project Funding. Programmatic Requests
Thank you for your interest in sharing your FY 2023 federal funding priorities. Unfortunately, the deadline for receiving appropriations requests for the FY 2023 funding cycle has passed, so I am no longer able to accept new requests. If you have questions about an existing request, or would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-5916 and someone from my team will be happy to assist.
