The Congressional Award Foundation is a public-private partnership created by Congress to promote and recognize service, initiative and achievement in America’s youth. Eligible individuals, ages 14 to 23, earn may earn a Congressional Award by setting and achieving challenging goals in the four program areas: Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness and Expedition/Exploration.
The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) plans to advance surface transportation authorization legislation later this spring, building on H.R. 2, the Moving Forward Act, from the 116th Congress. Chairman Peter DeFazio announced that the T&I Committee will formally accept requests for projects from House Members.
Congressman Andy Kim has submitted funding requests for important community projects in New Jersey's 3rd Congressional District to the House Appropriations Committee.
Since January of 2019, Congressman Kim’s office has assisted our neighbors in Burlington and Ocean Counties resolve more than 8,500 cases with federal departments and agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congressman Kim’s office has also directly helped neighbors struggling to access VA health benefits, small business assistance, Medicare, and Social Security.
