Committees

I am proud to serve on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce has broad jurisdiction over many aspects of government directly related to the everyday lives of Oklahomans, including health care, energy production and consumer safety. The committee oversees departments including: the Departments of Energy, Health and Human Services, Commerce and Transportation. Our oversight also extends to the Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Trade Commission, Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Communications Commission.

Within the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, I sit on the following three subcommittees: Health, Environment and Climate Change, and Communications and Technology. 

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) was created in 1977. HPSCI is charged with oversight of the United States Intelligence Community—which includes the intelligence and intelligence-related activities of of the U.S. Government—and the Military Intelligence Program.

Within HPSCI I serve on two subcommittees: Defense Intelligence and Warfighter Support and Strategic Technologies and Advanced Research.
