The U.S. Coast Guard Academy no longer requires a Congressional nomination for appointment. Applications must therefore be made directly to the Academy. Congresswoman Norton has the honor and privilege to recommend some of the District's most talented and skilled individuals for selection to the four service academies that require nominations: the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Military Academy West Point. These academies provide an exceptional education, as well as a five-year service requirement.
My staff is happy to assist constituents with obtaining tickets for tours of the U.S. Capitol and other Washington, DC attractions.
Our office may be able to help you expedite your passport application in an emergency, report lost passports, and monitor overseas travel restrictions.
