Congressional Art Competition

Congresswoman Pelosi with the 2022 Art Competition winner Alexander Tseng

Congresswoman Pelosi welcomed Alexander Tseng, the winner of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition
for California’s 12th Congressional District, to the U.S. Capitol to celebrate his artistic achievement.

Each spring, my office participates in Artistic Discovery, The Congressional Art Competition. This nation-wide high school arts competition gives Members of Congress an opportunity to celebrate and showcase artistic talent from their Congressional District.

Front Line Hero by Alexander Tseng, will be on display in the Cannon Tunnel as the winning piece for the 2022 Congressional Art Competition from California’s 12th Congressional District. This tunnel joins the Cannon House Office Building to the United States’ Capitol and gives visitors to the Capitol an opportunity to enjoy the exceptional artwork.
