Small Business, Jobs, and the Economy

Small businesses power our economy in Burlington and Ocean Counties. Many of our neighbors work at small businesses, and most New Jersey businesses qualify as a small business. When our small businesses succeed, our communities succeed. That is why I’m dedicated to being a voice for New Jersey entrepreneurs in Congress.

As a Member of Congress on the House Small Business Committee, I have:

  • Introduced legislation to cut bureaucratic red tape and give our small business owners the resources they need to grow;
  • Voted to pass COVID relief legislation that created programs like the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Restaurant Revitalization Fund that helped keep more than 10,000 small businesses in Burlington and Ocean Counties afloat; and
  • Helped more than 185 local small businesses resolve issues with the federal government including securing Economic Injury Disaster Loans and PPP.
