WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representatives Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), David Trone (D-MD), Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-NM), and David McKinley (R-WV) introduced the bipartisan Opioid Patients' Right to Know Act to prevent opioid addiction in medical patients across the country.
WASHINGTON, PA –Today, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) announced Fayette County received a total of $917,368 through the Appalachian Regional Commission's (ARC) Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative. Fayette County will use this funding for the "Recovery to Reemployment" Remote Monitoring Program, which will focus on combatting substance abuse in the region by providing daily patient monitoring and support services.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, during a hearing in the House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) criticized Democrats' irresponsible decision to delay passage of legislation to combat the flow of deadly fentanyl-related substances into our nation. In nine days, the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) 2018 order making all fentanyl-related drugs illegal expires.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) voted for two measures - H.R. 1158 and H.R. 1865 – to fund the federal government for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2020. Federal government funding is currently set to expire at midnight on Friday. Both measures passed the House by strong, bipartisan votes and now head to the Senate for consideration.
