The 2022 Congressional Art Competition is Now Open

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our congressional district. Winning works are displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol.

The Office of Congresswoman Scanlon is pleased to announce the 2022 Congressional Art Competition. This year, our office will be accepting artwork from students, grades 9 through 12, who live in Pennsylvania’s 5th Congressional District from Monday April 18, 2022 until Friday April 29, 2022.
