The units include 10 fully ADA-accessible rooms and 8 family rooms which support over 176 Veterans each year, representing the only Veteran-specific transitional housing program in the state.

This project would offer an in-state practicum option that would help create a retention bridge back to New Mexico.

FNCH is requesting $1 million dollars to aid in this initiative to cover the construction and design-related costs. It is anticipated that when this project is fully operational, it will increase access annually to integrated holistic care services to more than 15,000 community members who are without a medical, behavioral health or dental home.

The purpose of the FASR program specifically is to support the growth of the COSMIAC facilities for new students, staff, and faculty for space enterprise research. The program also includes a STEM component, designed to create the engineering workforce of tomorrow. Funds for the FASR program would be used to provide students with necessary supplies.

Project Description and Explanation: The NewSpace Ignitor is a concept to develop and build a comprehensive small satellite test and evaluation center in New Mexico. The concept is to build a facility that would allow developers of small satellites to test out new concepts and equipment rapidly and at low cost. This would be done in a fully integrated facility capable of conducting thermal vacuum and vibration testing, electronic equipment calibration, software simulation, and component testing and checkout. Currently, much of this testing is done at separate facilities throughout the country adding time, cost, and complexity to the testing.

The gap between the number of people who experience violent crime and those who receive help, beyond the resolution of their case, is large and even larger for communities of color and other under-served and unserved victims of violent crime. The Trauma Recovery Center model provides assertive outreach and engagement to engage crime victims in services. Trauma Recovery Center model evaluations have found that participants engage more in services than others in similar situations and show more improvement in overall health.

Renovated state-of-the-art facilities enable new discoveries and treatments improving lifespan and quality of life for the state and US. These aging facilities create significant challenges in the operational capabilities of infrastructure, the design of facilities to support current research models and the ability to support growth in research programs. When both the quantity and age of wet laboratory research space is compared with a range of peer state university health sciences centers, it is clear, HSC facilities are significantly older resulting in 1) older models of research facilities; 2) higher maintenance and operating costs; and 3) reduced competitiveness in the ability to use space as a tool for recruiting and retaining top research teams.

In addition to the expansion of DiverseIT, Adelante will explore two new business opportunities with the goal to provide jobs and training to 10 individuals. This may be through a set up for hydroponic farming or to create a landscaping training business to compliment the contracts we already have through our Facility Support Services.

Federal funds will be used for construction, including site preparation, creation of green spaces and installation of play equipment and innovative features that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) that will serve children with a wide range of ability challenges. No park of this type exists in Albuquerque. Completion of Daniel Webster Par will improve and support economic development in an under-served neighborhood. Daniel Webster Park will be an example to the nation of how to lift people up through parks, bring them together and create a more just and equitable society and communities.

Project Description and Explanation: The funding would be used to complete the IPOC and IPK and further the mission of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center has been honoring New Mexico’s Pueblos since 1976. The IPCC is owned and operated by the 19 Pueblos and provides a unique educational experience to the thousands of visitors each year. The IPCC includes a 10,000 square foot museum of the history and artifacts of traditional Pueblo cultures and their contemporary art for more than 40 years. The Indian Pueblo Kitchen and the Indian Pueblo Opportunity Center are two projects designed with the IPCC’s core mission in mind: to preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture while providing opportunities for the Pueblo people to better their lives.

The Roots Conservatory's multicultural, year-round programming is geared towards engaging primarily Black youth ages 8-16 and other youth of color. The purpose of the Roots Conservatory Initiative is to integrate arts and asset-based models of engagement that equip the youth served with meaningful tools and skills to develop strong resilience, leadership, and self-esteem that will prepare them for success academically, physically, emotionally, and socially.
