Our District
California’s 48th District is located in Southern California and includes most of the Orange County coast. The 48th Congressional District includes Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Midway City, Newport Beach, and Seal Beach, as well as portions of Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Westminster.
The district is home to the scenic California coastline, and its weather and natural beauty make it a premier destination for tourists year-round. Southern California’s iconic surf culture is prominent in California’s 48th District, home to Huntington Beach, famously known as “Surf City, U.S.A”. The 48th also encompasses most of Orange County’s Little Saigon district, which is home to more Vietnamese-Americans than anywhere else in the United States.
Our district has a diverse economic background fueled by both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Leading industries include health services, hospitality, education, and aerospace. Orange County is known for its highly skilled workforce and remains a desirable location for businesses to grow.
