Washington D.C. – Today, Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL), a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Interior and the House Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee on Environment, voted for S.J. Res. 22 which would nullify the so-called “Waters of the United States” rule that allows for onerous environmental regulations that apply to even the smallest bodies of water, such as ponds and ditches, which will cause great harm to many farmers and ranchers.
