• For serious donations including space, supplies, or other resources, email Brenna Roos at Roosb@michigan.gov.  
• Employers looking to host vaccination clinics for their employees should reach out to their local health department.

MI Start Map - an online dashboard that visually illustrates COVID-19 risks and trends in Michigan to provide residents with important information about the pandemic status where they live and work.

MI Symptoms Web Application - Designed primarily for employers and employees, the online tool is also available to all Michigan residents. Users enter information daily to help identify symptoms that might be caused by the virus and to make decisions about when to seek appropriate medical care. Local and state public health will also use the collective data to help identify the potential for new outbreaks of the disease.  

MI Mask Aid 

Four million free masks are being provided to Michigan residents who are most vulnerable to COVID-19 through a partnership involving the State, Ford Motor Company and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), 

Low-income residents, seniors, schools and homeless shelters will benefit from the MI Mask Aid partnership that is part of the Mask Up Michigan campaign

Anyone interested in receiving a free mask can find a distribution  location by calling the COVID-19 Hotline at 888-535-6136 or looking up their local Community Action Agency online.

Help Hotline: Residents with non-health calls should call 248-858-1000. The Help Hotline assists residents in finding community resources, food and housing assistance.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

FEMA, in coordination with HHS, will assist state, local, tribal, territorial governments and other eligible entities with the health and safety actions they take on behalf of the American public. Please visit their website to learn more: https://www.fema.gov/coronavirus

In early April, FEMA will begin providing financial assistance for funeral expenses incurred after Jan. 20, 2020 for deaths related to coronavirus (COVID-19) to help ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the pandemic. Coronavirus Hotline

Beaumont Health launched a coronavirus hotline and implemented hospital visitor restrictions Thursday. This is so health care providers can lessen the chances of other people being exposed.

The line is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you need medical attention when the line is not available, contact the doctor or emergency room before going there.

Workplace Safety and Health

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) within the Dept. of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) issued workplace guidelines for employers and employees and created a new hotline, 855-SAFEC19 (855-723-3219), to answer guideline questions and further protect Michigan’s workforce from the spread of COVID-19.  

Additionally, MIOSHA provides further clarification the construction and manufacturing sectors must take to protect workers that have returned to work. The State of Michigan’s Workplace Safety Guidelines can be found on LEO’s homepage at Michigan.gov/LEO.

This $30 million dollar program will help millions of Michiganders earn a tuition-free associate degree or skills certificate at their in-district community college. Pure Michigan Talent Connect provides job seekers and employers with an online portal at MiTalent.org to post, search and connect to these job openings.

The COVID-19 health care jobs portal features more than 7,000 openings for a variety of positions, including registered nurses and licensed professional nurses, certified nurse aides, licensed professional nurses, respiratory therapists at long-term care facilities, hospitals and in other settings. There are full-time, part-time, and temporary positions available.
