Congressman Ryan's Washington, DC Staff Members
Ron Grimes
Chief of Staff
Ron is Congressman Ryan's primary advisor. He directs and manages the DC and district offices.
Erin Isenberg
Deputy Chief of Staff
Erin is the office manager and scheduler and ensures that office policies and procedures are followed. As the scheduler she maintains the Member's official schedule, travel plans, and related records and acts as a liaison for the Member with the staff, public and other Members.
Ryan Keating
Deputy Chief of Staff
Ryan is the primary policy advisor for the Congressman. In addition to staffing the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee, Ryan serves as a resource for legislative assistants, and acts as the primary staffer for issues related to defense/military, energy, the environment, and veterans affairs.
Caty Payette
Communications Director
Caty is the director of the communications team and coordinates all communications activities for Congressman Ryan and the office. She also serves as Congressman Ryan's official spokesperson and media liaison.
Noah Boucher
Digital and Press Assistant
Noah is a member of the communications team and assists in coordinating all communications activities for Congressman Ryan and the office – including the development and dissemination of all communications materials and the management of Congressman Ryan’s social media presence.
Wendell Jones
Staff Assistant
Wendell assists the staff with administrative and legislative tasks. In addition to managing the front desk and training the interns, he also works closely with the legislative team to manage constituent correspondences.
Eric Schmith
Legislative Fellow
Eric advises Congressman Ryan on defense and veterans issues, and staffs the Congressman for the Military Mental Health Caucus. Eric advises the Congressman on defense policy and appropriations, military construction, and mindfulness in defense.
District Office Staff
Rick Leonard
District Director - Warren office
Rick oversees all District office operations including monitoring personnel matters and ensuring that office policies and procedures are followed. He occasionally represents the Congressman, or assigns appropriate staff to do so, in District. He also travels throughout the District at regular intervals to keep abreast of local concerns and reports back to the Chief of Staff and Congressman.
Illa Willis
Office Manager & District Scheduler - Warren office
Illa manages the Congressman’s schedule and calendar in Ohio and oversees the essential daily operations of the local Warren Office. She regularly briefs the Congressman on all scheduling activities in the District and makes recommendations on proposed future meetings. She designs and prepares proclamations, certificates, and other official documents, as well as maintains office supplies and equipment.
Jason Miller
Constituent Liaison- Akron office
Jason is part of the Congressman's team that acts as the constituent service center for casework correspondence and local issues. He specializes in social security and disability benefits, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Education, housing assistance, retirement plans and pensions. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
Matt Vadas
Constituent Liaison - Warren office
Matt is part of the Congressman's team that acts as the constituent service center for casework correspondence and local issues. His concentration is in Military and Veterans affairs and issues related to the State Department. He helps administer the Congressional Nomination Selection Process and assists with general casework. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
Vincent Peterson II
Constituent Liaison & Field Representative- Warren office
Vincent is part of the Congressman's constituent service team for casework correspondence and local issues. He is primarily based out of the Warren, Ohio district office but often staffs the Congressman and travels the district to attend meetings and site visits. He handles Department of Justice, Department of Labor workplace rights & compliance, Postal Service and FEMA Emergency Assistance issues. Periodically he will represent the office at opiate epidemic meetings, the criminal justice system and healthy food and wellness. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
Pat Lowry
Senior Advisor - Youngstown office
Pat is part of the Congressman's constituent team. He travels throughout the District at regular intervals to keep abreast of local concerns and reports back to the Chief of Staff and Congressman.
