2022 Congressional Art Competition

We are pleased to announce that the Sixth Congressional District of Alabama will be participating in the Congressional Art Competition.  This nation-wide contest draws from over 200 Congressional offices, and recognizes the rich artistic talents of our young people. The winners from each district will have their artwork displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol Building.
The VIRTUAL competition is open to all Sixth District high schools. Participating teachers should limit their entries to five (5) ORIGINAL pieces per school.  Artists can enter various mediums such as paintings, drawings, collages and mixed media art. All students must submit their artwork to Congressman Palmer’s District Office.  The virtual gallery will be shown from April 25- May 31, 2022.

The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year and featured online at House.gov’s Congressional Art Competition page.
