Rep. Doug LaMalfa To Host Senior Scam Stopper Seminar Tomorrow in Anderson

Washington, DC – Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) will be hosting a free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar in conjunction with the Contractors State License Board tomorrow, August 16th in Anderson. Seniors, their families, and caregivers are encouraged to attend and learn more about how to avoid fraud and abuse.

“Unfortunately, seniors continue to be a major target for fraud each year,” said LaMalfa. “This event will provide an opportunity for seniors to hear tips and advice from experts on how to protect themselves and their loved ones from financial scams, covering topics such as privacy concerns, identity theft, Medicare, telecommunications and more.”
