The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.

Internships are available year round for college students looking to gain experience while continuing to complete coursework.  Interns will gain exposure to and knowledge of the federal legislative process through interning in the Washington, DC office.

Interns will conduct tours of the U.S. Capitol (if the House allows Capitol tours), research federal legislation, assist legislative staff, attend hearings and briefings (pending House rules), and write letters on issues being considered before the House of Representatives.
