ROMNEY, Kenneth, a Sergeant at Arms from Montana; born in Missoula, Missoula County, Montana, on October 20, 1885; attended the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash., and George Washington University, Washington, D.C.; journalist and editor; assistant Sergeant at Arms of the United States House of Representatives, 1915–1917; cashier, Office of the Sergeant at Arms, United States House of Representatives, 1917–1930; elected Sergeant at Arms of the United States House of Representatives for the Seventy-second and for the seven succeeding Congresses (December 7, 1931–January 3, 1947); died on April 6, 1952, in Arlington, Va.; interment in Riverview Cemetery, Hamilton, Mont.
