RUSS, Jack, a Sergeant at Arms from Maryland; born in Poplarville, Pearl River County, Miss., in 1945; staff, Office of the Doorkeeper, United States House of Representatives, 1967–1983; elected Sergeant at Arms of the United States House of Representatives for the Ninety Eighth and for the four succeeding Congresses, until his resignation on March 12, 1992 (January 3, 1983–March 12, 1992).
