GLENN, William J., a Doorkeeper from New York; born in Dansville, Livingston Co., N.Y., July 2, 1862; newspaperman; Cuba, N.Y., postmaster, 1889–1894; elected Doorkeeper of the United States House of Representatives to the Fifty–fourth Congress and to the three succeeding Congresses until his death on March 12, 1902 (December 2, 1895–March 12, 1902); died on March 12, 1902, in Washington, D.C.; interment in Cuba, N.Y.
