KENNAMER, Tom, a Doorkeeper from Missouri; born in Ala., March 25, 1901; engaged in the railroad industry; staff, Office of the Doorkeeper of the United States House of Representatives; elected Doorkeeper of the U.S. House of Representatives to the Eighty–third Congress (January 3, 1953–January 5, 1955); died on August 16, 1978, in Houston, Tex.; interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Ala.
