McKNEW, Zadoc W., a Doorkeeper from Maryland; born on September 14, 1806; elected Doorkeeper of the United States House of Representatives to the Thirty-second Congress and to the succeeding Congress (December 1, 1851–February 5, 1856); supervisor of internal revenue for Georgia and Florida; died on September 17, 1872; interment in Saint Johns Episcopal Church Cemetery, Beltsville, Md.
