MOLLOY, James T., a Doorkeeper from New York; born in Buffalo, Erie County, N.Y., June 3, 1936; graduated from Canisius College, Buffalo, N.Y.; attended St. John’s Law School, Brooklyn, N.Y.; fireman; schoolteacher; longshoreman; administrative assistant to the district attorney, Erie County, N.Y.; chairman, second ward, city of Buffalo, N.Y.; Chief, Office of Finance, U.S. House of Representatives, 1969–1974; appointed Doorkeeper of the United States House of Representatives to the Ninety–third Congress; elected Doorkeeper of the United States House of Representatives to the Ninety–fourth Congress and to the nine succeeding Congresses (December 31, 1974–January 5, 1995); died on July 19, 2011, in Rochester, N.Y.
