Tours and Tickets

After nearly two years of COVID closures, the U.S. Capitol Building has re-opened for staff-led tours, Monday - Friday. Weekend Capitol tours will not be offered. 

Additionally, the White House Visitors Center will begin public tours on Friday and Saturday mornings starting Friday, April 15, 2022. Tour requests will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note, White House tour requests must be placed three months in advance of your planned visit. 

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been a consistent advocate to reopen the people’s house, and I am excited to welcome Long Islanders back to our Capitol. All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.

White House tours may be submitted up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 3 weeks before the requested tour date.

Each person in your tour party must submit security information to the White House via a link they provide.
