Constituent Advocate

Senator Bob Casey seeks a personable and organized individual to serve as a Constituent Advocate in his Scranton office. This position will manage constituent requests for assistance with federal agencies and will serve as a liaison, facilitator, and advocate when working with Pennsylvanians, government agencies, and community organizations. Primary responsibilities will include monitoring constituent cases within assigned issue areas from start to finish; liaising with federal agencies and other stakeholders; providing timely updates to constituents regarding their cases; and representing the office at community events. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service instincts, the ability to exercise good political judgment, and an unflappable demeanor when faced with challenging assignments. Pennsylvania ties and/or foreign language skills are a plus. The onboarding salary for this position is $52,000 annually.
