On June 8th, Congresswoman Lisa McClain held the first meeting of her education council to help close the gap and encourage high school graduates to pursue the skilled trades. Throughout the 10th Congressional District and Michigan as a whole, thousands of skilled trade opportunities remain open. Jobs such as electricians, plumbers, child care professionals, health care workers and others can provide successful careers and a fulfilling life.
