The complete and total chaos of President Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal has made America less safe.

Every decision that President Biden made was the wrong one.  He pulled out troops before evacuating civilian personnel.  He abandoned the heavily-fortified Bagram Air Base, forcing troops to run operations out of a commercial airport.  And he left behind valuable military equipment, resulting in the deadliest and most well-armed Taliban in the history of the Taliban.

We’ve already seen images of these terrorists firing our rifles and using our drones, and it’s only a matter of time before we see them flying one of our Blackhawk helicopters.

The Department of Defense owes us answers.  We need to know how much weaponry has fallen into Taliban hands, what proprietary technology is now at risk, and what contingency plans are being made to neutralize those assets.  We need to know what threats our troops are facing now as they work to evacuate the remaining Americans and allies from Afghanistan.

That’s why I sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin demanding a full inventory of all vulnerable equipment.  Read it here:
