There’s no shortage of challenges facing our country: gas is over $4.20 per gallon, there’s a record-breaking number of illegal border crossings and Putin is continuing his unprovoked war against a sovereign, democratic Ukraine.

But very little happened in Congress this week.

There was no legislation considered to combat inflation, and even after hearing an impassioned plea from President Zelensky, there was essentially no debate on how the U.S. should counter Putin’s aggression.

I’ll continue to push my colleagues to do what we were elected to do: have the tough conversations and make the difficult decisions for the country.

I discuss this and more in the latest Week in Review.
