Internships

The internship program in the Office of Senator Tom Carper is an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain experience in a professional setting, participate in the legislative process, and experience democracy at work. Interns can gain a comprehensive understanding of the political process as well as practice practical skills that will help with preparation for future pursuits.

The internship program is open to college students and recent graduates with a record of academic excellence and a strong interest in public service.  Preference is given to Delaware residents. Positions are available in Washington, D.C., and Delaware for Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
