WASHINGTON, D.C. —  Senator John Thune announced today that the United States Department of Health and Human Services has approved a $700,000 grant for the Northeast South Dakota Economic Corporation in Sisseton.

“These important resources will lead to stronger, more prosperous economic development in Northeast South Dakota,” Thune said.

This funding will assist the Northeast South Dakota Economic Corporation in improving its efforts in urban and rural economic development.
