Washington, DC

Internships in the Washington, DC office run throughout the academic year and over the summer for college students and recent graduates. Internships include a financial stipend, provide students and recent graduates with valuable work experience and a deeper understanding of the legislative process. Interns’ responsibilities vary and may include answering phones, researching legislation, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent messages on various issues impacting VA-02.

The Fall 2022 internship is in-person if those selected can provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. 

District

District Office interns have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of constituent casework and district outreach on the congressional level. Interns’ responsibilities vary and may include answering phones, attending events with the Congresswoman, assisting with casework, and researching outreach opportunities. District Office internships run throughout the academic year and over the summer for college students and recent graduates. Candidates with strong district ties are preferred.

Internships include a financial stipend and are in our Virginia Beach Office located in the Virginia Beach Town Center area. Fall 2022 internships are in-person. Internships are 20 hours a week and will run September 12th- November 18th. The District Application closes on August 26th, 2022.
