Congressional App Challenge
Each year, I have the opportunity to host the Congressional App Challenge for middle and high school students across Texas-24. This competition encourages participants to learn to code and looks to inspire them to pursue STEM-related careers.

Congressional Art Competition
Each Spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts a nationwide high school Congressional art competition. This is a creative opportunity for students to compete and showcase their artistic talents through an original two dimensional piece of artwork. The winning piece will be displayed for a year in the U.S. Capitol.

Internships
Each year, I have the privilege of providing internships for students and recent graduates in my District office as well as my Washington D.C. office. Internships are a great way to learn more about the legislative process, acquire beneficial office skills, and contribute important work to a Congressional office.
