WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Elaine Luria (VA-02) today voted for a House resolution to protect Virginians' health care by strengthening congressional authority to intervene against a lawsuit (Texas v. U.S.) that seeks to strike down the Affordable Care Act, including Virginia's Medicaid expansion and protections for all Virginians with pre-existing conditions.

Jones (NC-03) co-introduced the bipartisan Defend Our Coast Act to prohibit the Department of Interior from issuing leases for the exploration, development or production of oil or gas on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) in the Mid-Atlantic (Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Delaware).
