HHS and CDC announced revisions to COVID-19 laboratory reporting guidance that will go into effect on April 4, 2022. The new guidance still requires the reporting of all results for NAAT tests. For non-NAAT tests (rapid or antigen test results), the new guidance requires the reporting of positive tests and makes the reporting of negative results optional.
