The Simon Center's mission is to lead and coordinate the planning, synchronization, execution, and assessment of the Character Program so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character.

BRIGADE TACTICAL DEPARTMENT

The Brigade Tactical Department (BTD) is directly responsible for the day-to-day command and discipline of the Corps of Cadets. The Corps of Cadets is divided into four regiments, each containing three battalions of three companies.

The Department of Military Instruction educates and inspires the US Corps of Cadets in the essence of war-fighting and the Profession of Arms in order to develop future Army officers, all with the proper values, leadership skills, military skills, character, and warrior ethos to effectively lead America’s Soldiers.

The Directorate of Cadet Activities provides comprehensive and diverse extracurricular, social, cultural, and recreational programs that enhance the leader development of the Corps of Cadets.

CENTER FOR  PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Center For Personal Development (CPD) provides comprehensive counseling services to the Corps of Cadets in an accepting and supportive environment. CPD is staffed by Army and Civilian clinical psychologists with a broad range of experience providing counseling and behavioral health treatment. Our mission is to “facilitate the personal and professional development of cadets into leaders of character as future Army officers.” The center’s motto “Know Yourself to Lead Others” embodies our mission and purpose.
