Substance Use and Mental Illness Data

SAMHSA Public Messages and Programs

SAMHSA has a variety of public messages and programs about substance misuse prevention and positive mental health. Amplify your prevention efforts by using materials and information from these programs and participating in other health initiatives.

SAMHSA Technology Transfer Centers (TTC) Program

SAMHSA’s TTC program develops and strengthens the specialized behavioral healthcare and primary healthcare workforce that provides prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for substance use disorder and mental illness. The TTC program is composed of three networks:

SAMHSA Publications

The SAMHSA Store houses free publications, apps, and other resources on treatment, prevention, and recovery for mental and substance use disorders. Use these resources to help develop your events and activities, to distribute as handouts for participants, or to gain a better understanding of today’s critical topics.
