Important OBVI vendor update:
The State of Wisconsin's Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired (OBVI) intends to create a list of qualified vendors that offer products and/or services for people who are blind, visually impaired, or deaf-blind.
Interested vendors MUST complete a application that describes their qualifications. The application can be found at https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7084810/OBVI-Vendor-Application. Applications submissions must be received by no later than 10 p.m. on January 15, 2023.
Vendors will be selected based on qualifications and needs of consumers. Multiple vendors may be selected for potential use over the following 12 months, no guarantees are made at this time to any vendor.
Please note: For current OBVI vendors, if you do not submit a completed application we regret to inform you that OBVI cannot continue to do business with your agency.

Rehabilitation services are provided by the Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired (OBVI) to help individuals who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their own goals of independent living. OBVI staff visit individuals in their homes, conduct group trainings, and teach techniques and technologies for use in daily living (home management, personal care, Orientation & Mobility, and communications). These specialized skills allow individuals to adapt and adjust to vision loss, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
