Alfred F. Fonteneau
Alfred F. Fonteneau is a native Texan, born in Highland, a small town south of Houston. Before attending University, he served as a medic in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Fonteneau received his post graduate degrees from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France and from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. Before joining the Foreign Service, the Consul General was a Peace Corps volunteer in Dakar, Senegal and taught English as a foreign language at Lycee Blaise Diagne and at the University of Dakar.(complete text)
