New U.S. Contribution to OCHA
Additional Funding for OCHA Adds to U.S. Assistance to the Palestinian People -- The U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem has informed the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) will contribute $332,419 for OCHA’s operations in the West Bank and Gaza this year. This brings the Department of State’s contribution to OCHA worldwide to $1,333,694 during Fiscal Year 2004, which ended on September 30.(complete text)
