Term of Appointment: 07/13/2004 to present

The following named actions have been taken on the Presidential appointment of June Carter Perry, of the District of Columbia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Counselor, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Lesotho: She previously served as a Diplomat in Residence at Howard University. Earlier in her career, Ms. Perry served as the Deputy Chief of Mission in Madagascar and in the Central African Republic. She earned her bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago and her master's degree from the University of Chicago.
